With only a few weeks left in 2024, it feels like a good time to update our amazing customers and suppliers about how our year has progressed.
Products
After a challenging end to 2023, we made the decision to move forward with a second system aimed directly at new trade customers. Following extensive research, we chose to partner with Alunet Systems to start manufacturing their Aluna range. As the year has progressed, we’ve really begun to up the ante with the Aluna range, which has become a fantastic offering for FrameX. The product feedback has been very positive, and with the additional orders, we’ve had a very busy year.
Our largest system supplier, SAS, has released their new Ali VU Heritage Door, which has been a huge hit with our customers. We’ve also recently installed a new showroom display model.
Step Up!
To help us maintain our high standards, we’ve once again invested in our team, making several appointments throughout the year. Firstly, in our production team, we promoted a few internal members. Dave has stepped into the role of Dispatch Manager, while Oliver has moved from Dispatch to become our Purchasing Manager. Additionally, we’ve welcomed John Feeney as our new Commercial Manager. These roles have already started to support our long-term growth strategy. I couldn’t be prouder of our team at FrameX.
Fun fact: Between us, we have, wait for it… over 300 years of aluminium fabrication experience!
Fleet & Machines
As a result of new product offerings and team investments, we needed to increase our delivery fleet capacity. We chose Mercedes Sprinters and now have a total of five fully custom-racked delivery vehicles, which have eased the load on the fleet. We’ve also added a new Elumatec Automatic End Miller and another crimping machine to our 15,000 sqft state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. Thanks to these new additions, we now have the extra machine capacity required for future growth.
Production Records
Our Production Manager, Nick, has been busy breaking records, with our highest production week in Week 33 – a great achievement and what a week that was! With the final two weeks of production scheduled, we will have increased our output by 20% year on year. Great job to Nick and his team!
Sales
Our biggest year to date! With the introduction of Aluna, we’ve seen our conversion rate increase by 7%, something we’re incredibly proud of. Our Sales Manager, Luke, and his team have worked tirelessly all year quoting, supporting, and advising both new and returning customers on how to complete their projects to the highest standards using FrameX products. We’ve had lots of happy customers and completed some stunning projects. Callum, who works closely with Luke as our Sales Estimator, has had a fantastic year. He’s really developed into a valuable asset for the company, and his efficient estimating skills have received plenty of positive feedback this year.
New Products
Aluna Bi-Folds have been a wonderful addition to our product catalogue this year. However, the new internal system, FX30, has truly been the star of the show. We’ve completed several office refurbishment projects using the single-glazed door and screening system, and more and more customers are choosing this product to create glazed walkways or open-plan living areas. With no threshold, the flooring can run through seamlessly, and soft-close sliding options add a real wow-factor. Next year will see the introduction of the internal bifold – watch this space!
Our new high-performance external door from Kobbe has also just launched, and it won’t be long before it’s on display in our Rossendale showroom.
Overall, What A Year!
2024 has been our best year yet. FrameX is in a strong position, with investments and an experienced team in place and ready to push forward in 2025. Our capacity is built, and we have some exciting projects in the pipeline. With our product range, there’s no project we can’t take on – no matter the specification, FrameX has the solution.
